Battlefield 6 Boasts PS5 Pro Enhancements, Won't Be Supported On Steam Deck

Battlefield 6 will, as expected, take advantage of performance-enhancement modes available on current hardware.

In a FAQ posted to the game's official site, EA confirmed that the upcoming FPS will come with options to boost game performance (frames per second) or image quality on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. These modes are largely standard for AAA titles these days, and the news comes just as the publisher finally clarified that Battlefield 6 will be ditching older hardware in favor of the current generation of consoles (except the Switch 2) and PC.

Additionally, Battlefield 6 will have "visual performance enhancements" that will be exclusive to the PS5 Pro version, though it's currently unclear what these enhancements will entail.
