Final Fantasy 7 Remake has the perfect blueprint for future Final Fantasy games' design. By now, it's hardly a secret that Final Fantasy has struggled to adaptto the modern gaming landscape. There was FF15's troubled development cycle and ultimately unfinished state, then FF16's often-dull story and pointless sidequests - although both of these games had a lot of positives, they pale in comparison to the series' highest points.
