CBS canceled SWAT (for the third time) in March 2025, and while the decision was controversial at the time, it's about to become even more divisive. The police procedural TV series premiered in 2017 and ultimately ran for eight seasons and 163 episodes. It faced death a handful of times, but SWAT proved to be the little show that could.
