A Stranger Things joke during Saturday Night Live season 51, episode 10 has elicited a backlash online, with some viewers criticizing the show for being homophobic. Finn Wolfhard, who played Mike Wheeler in the hit Netflix series, hosted the episode and appears in a sketch parodying Will Byers' (Noah Schnapp) coming out scene in season 5.
