There is a peaceful, relaxing joy that comes from playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons while I putter around my cottagecore-themed island and chat with my hand-picked villagers. The excitement of the new 3.0 update brought me back to the game after a hiatus, and has breathed new life into this virtual world as so many of us are enjoying seeing the new hotel and other changes the free update added.
