Steal Review: Sophie Turner Stands Tall In An Otherwise Mediocre Crime Thriller Miniseries

Steal's crime thriller lacks the high-octane energy that it promises in the show's description, but at least the performances of actors like Sophie Turner add some color to an otherwise drab series. Crime thrillers have a responsibility to engage the audience with enigmatic ne'er-do-wells causing mayhem and getting the upper hand on weary detectives, and while Steal's premiere does a decent job at setting that pace from the jump, the rest of the series is decidedly less invigorating.
