Julian Casablancas, Albert Hammond Jr., Nikolai Fraiture, Nick Valensi, and Fabrizio Moretti, collectively The Strokes, have churned out an impressive collection of songs in their 24-year career. While helping to modernize garage rock in the early 2000s, the five childhood friends from New York City captured grit, rebellion, and Lower East Side coolness with songs.
