Parody movies have been around in Hollywood for a long time but one from the 2000s probably did it better than almost any others. The most notable parody films include Airplane!, The Naked Gun, and Spaceballs (which is getting a remake), but by the time the '90s ended, they were kind of falling by the wayside.
