Last month, Steam removed several adult games from its storefront, despite usually having a high tolerance for the content it hosts. Itch then followed suit, deindexing all of its NSFW games. Anti-p*rnography group Collective Shout took responsibility for this, having pressured payment processors to threaten to pull their support from stores if the games they objected to were not taken down.
