August 12 marks the beginning of a new chapter of the Alien franchise, as Alien: Earth finally fulfills a franchise promise and brings the Xenomorph's terror to Earth. The iconic saga first debuted in 1979 with Ridley Scott's classic sci-fi horror. The Alien franchise consists of seven feature films as well as two crossovers with the Predator movies.
