9-1-1’s first main character death sparked major controversy, but ABC lost its perfect Thursday night alternative. Peter Krause leaving the first-responder drama was a palpable loss in the closing episodes of season 8, but Bobby Nash’s death in 9-1-1 will permanently alter the series, starting with the upcoming season 9. For many viewers, the fallen captain was an irredeemable decision.
