Clueless star Alicia Silverstone addresses the current status of the TV series continuation of her classic coming-of-age comedy in a promising update. The 1995 feature film, directed by Amy Heckerling, was a retelling of Jane Austen's 1815 novelEmma. Silverstone led the cast of Clueless as Cher Horowitz, a well-meaning and popular student who tries to help others.
