The Guardians of the Galaxy have an opportunity to be reimagined completely in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not long after Peter Quill retired onscreen from the team to close out the MCU trilogy, the MCU is expected to reboot after Secret Wars. This could mark a new beginning entirely for the Guardians of the Galaxy.
