James Gunn's Superman movie continues to rise at the worldwide box office, with the DC Universe film now surpassing two major Kong films. The DCU's Chapter 1: "Gods and Monsters" slate has gotten off to a major start in 2025 with the Superman movie, featuring David Corenswet as the newest Man of Steel.
