President of Paramount Skydance Corporation Jess Shell responds to the cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Acting as host for the last decade, Colbert took over The Late Show in 2015 from the legendary David Letterman. Particularly in his opening monologue, Colbert would often tackle political topics. Despite being the highest-rated late-night program, The Late Show was cancelled in July 2025.
