Even though Johnny Cage is the protagonist of Mortal Kombat II, he will not be the most important character. The trailer for Mortal Kombat II introduces Karl Urban's Cage and quickly sees him take center stage as Earthrealm's champions prepare to fight against Outworld in the tournament. If they lose, Outworld's forces will be able to invade Earthrealm.
