Although NBC took its eye off scripted comedy shows for a while there, both Happy’s Place and St Denis Medical prove that the network could come to dominate the genre if it played its cards right. NBC broadcasts a wide variety of shows, but it is not unreasonable to call the network a haven for procedurals.
