The Super Mario Galaxy Movie's announcement is exciting news, but it may be a disappointing sign for 2 fan-favorite Nintendo characters. During September 12's Nintendo Direct, the company announced the new title for the upcoming sequel to 2023's The Super Mario Bros. Movie. A sequel to the film was inevitable after breaking box office records, grossing $1.3 billion worldwide.
