Final Fantasy 7 Remake's third chapter is still a ways away, but it's looking like Square Enix might repeat a winning business decision from Final Fantasy 15's 2016 launch. During the September 2025 Nintendo Direct livestream, it was officially revealed that Final Fantasy 7 Remake would launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on January 22, 2026.
