Primal is one of those rare, perfect animated shows from start to finish that feels instantly timeless. Genndy Tartakovsky, best known for Samurai Jack and Dexter’s Laboratory, builds a world almost entirely without dialogue, where the story lives in the movement of bodies and the clash of sound etched onto every frame.
