The Day of the Jackal season 2 is set for a major shakeup with filming just on the horizon. The Eddie Redmayne-fronted spy thriller is an adaptation of Frederick Forsyth's novel of the same name, which was adapted into the 1973 movie, The Day of the Jackal, and a controversial "inspired-by" 1997 US remake, The Jackal, starring Bruce Willis.
