Avengers: Doomsday's use of the X-Men will lead to the Marvel Cinematic Universe fixing a mutant franchise mistake after 25 years. The cast of the next Avengers movie features many MCU heavy hitters. However, I believe the most exciting names announced for the 2026 Marvel film so far are those of the returning actors from Fox's X-Men movie franchise.
