Taylor Sheridan cast Sam Elliott in Landman season 2, but the executive producer of the Yellowstonefranchise has an even more genius casting of a Western movie legend. Sheridan cast Elliott as a co-lead of 1883, the first prequel of Taylor's flagship Yellowstone series.
