We all knew that Pokémon Legends Z-A would be fighting an uphill battle from the moment it was announced. Not only is it launching on both the Nintendo Switch and the Switch 2, it is also coming off the back of the utterly disastrous Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. While those games have their fans - I count myself among them - it is hard to deny that their poor performance and lack of fresh ideas hurt both their core experience and the brand as a whole.
