Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has inspired many heated debates, but the most prevalent is whether author J.R.R. Tolkien would currently be turning over in his grave. This is a series that gets far more than typical criticism. Instead, many of the loudest voices express vehement disgust. It's certainly a divisive series, but would Tolkien have hated it as much?
