Netflix's new hit series Boots has become doubly successful in its second week on streaming. Based on Greg Cope White's memoir The Pink Marine, Boots follows a young gay man who joins the U.S. Marine Corps in the 1990s, recounting his experience hiding his sexuality in this environment. Created by Andy Parker, Boots stars Miles Heizer in the lead role.
