The 1970s were a fantastic time for cinema, but what are the best action movies from the decade? Action cinema, as audiences recognize now,, didn't emerge until the 1980s. Key examples would be Sylvester Stallone action movies like First Blood or Cobra, whichput the emphasis on setpieces and visuals over story, in addition to having a ripped hero.
