The Golden Bachelor season 2 lead Mel Owens has chosen his final two women, with whom he'll share overnight Fantasy Suite dates after meeting their families during their hometown dates. Mel, a 66-year-old NFL player-turned-lawyer and divorced dad of two sons from Detroit, Michigan, began his Golden Bachelor journey with 23 women, aged 58 to 77. He faced fierce backlash before his season began because of ageist comments that he made on the In the Trenches podcast.
