Star-Lord has been part of the MCU since 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy, and his storyline came full circle in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Despite the movie promising his return, Pratt may eventually retire from the franchise, and if that happens, Marvel has the perfect replacement.
