Batman's next appearance will include the Joker, and DC has officially confirmed what the iconic villain will look like when he returns. James Gunn has major plans for the Dark Knight in the DCU, which is why the studio is taking its time to make sure The Brave and the Bold's script is just right. Thankfully, other Batman projects are on the way.
