At its core, Gilmore Girlsis a show about relationships, but it ruined one of its best in season 6. Of course, Gilmore Girls' core bond is between mother-daughter duo Lorelai and Rory, but the series also explores Lorelai's fractured relationship with her parents, Richard and Emily, as well as the romantic lives of almost every main character.
