2025's upcoming Batman show manages to be a perfect reminder of what DC arguably needs from it and other Batman: The Animated Series successors in the present day. Batman: The Animated Series isn't just one of the best shows ever about the Dark Knight: it's also a release that effectively helped sculpt the next decades for DC.
