Season 5 of Abbott Elementary will be Melissa Schemmenti's (Lisa Ann Walter) and Jacob Hill's (Chris Perfetti) chance to shine. The colleagues grew closer after becoming roommates in season 3 and soon evolved into the friendly pair the series didn't know it needed. In season 5, the pair's bond will continue to grow as Jacob's arc unfolds.
