Shortly after you start Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, you'll be guided to pick one of six vampire clans that'll determine your character's core skill set throughout the game. After that, though, you'll have access to the entirety of the skill tree, and, while skills related to your chosen class will always be cheaper, you can buy any other class' skill as long as you have the Blood Resonance required.
