Some of the greatest television shows from Marvel and DC’s history weren’t expected to be as incredible as they were. Superhero shows have come a long way from the formulaic and predictable adventures of the early 2000s. For years, many small-screen adaptations to pale in comparison to blockbuster movies, but every so often, a series defied expectations.
