Avengers: Doomsday is set up to be one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's biggest events, and that could lead to the death of an original Avenger. Robert Downey Jr. will return in the MCU's next Avengers movie. However, instead of playing Iron Man, the actor will lead Avengers: Doomsday's cast as Doctor Doom. The villain is expected to be extremely powerful.
