Hollywood has long had dreams of making a Call of Duty movie. The incredibly popular, best-selling Activision video game franchise is ripe for exploration on the big screen. Steven Spielberg even wanted to make Call of Duty for Universal. After Activision Blizzard failed to get a film on the ground with director Stefano Sollima (Sicario: Day of the Soldado) a few years ago, questions turned to how and when a Call of Duty movie would happen, as well as who would be involved.
