It may be time for companies to think twice before adapting a popular book series into a TV show. Of course, bringing books to the screen is nothing new. This practice has been going on for decades, most prominently from books to films. However, in recent years, TV has become a more popular medium for book adaptations, since the longer format allows more room for creativity.
