Kurt Russell, who spent the bulk of his career best known for his work in horror and sci-fi films, has quietly enjoyed a major resurgence in recent years, which will continue into 2026. As an enduring performer, Russell's work in '80s and '90s blockbusters like The Thing and Escape From New Yorkis something to take pride in, but his recent roles have been something different.
