The MCU's worst trend regarding Thanos is still ongoing as a result of the character's return in Marvel's latest movie. To say that Thanos' notoriety as a comicbook villain skyrocketed thanks to the MCU timeline would still almost be an understatement, as it's safe to say millions found themselves introduced to the Mad Titan and the threat he could pose as a result of the franchise's films.
