Warning! This article contains SPOILERS for Landman season 2, episode 1.The premiere of Landman season 2 made it clear that Jon Hamm's Monty Miller isn't coming back to the show, but killing him off was actually the single best decision the series could have made. Monty died in Landman season 1 after suffering another major heart attack, but the premiere of Landman season 2 is the first time the show has had to deal with his absence. Luckily, it handled Jon Hamm's departure well.
