Netflix is finally getting back on the road for a sequel to The Mitchells vs. the Machines, though it will be without one of the creative minds behind the first film. The 2021 film centered on a Michigan family as they set off on a cross-country road trip to take their teenage daughter to film school in Los Angeles, only for a global apocalypse to begin as an AI entity begins using newly designed robots to take over the world.
