In early 2025, the most famous British and American spy franchises in movie history were united under the same studio umbrella for the first time, when James Bond fell into Amazon’s hands alongside Jack Ryan. While Amazon already owned the distribution rights to the Bond franchise before this year, it has now also claimed creative control over 007.
