Romance runs as an undercurrent in every story, but the best TV couples never existed in canon. Regardless of genre, there are unforgettable TV romances that long outlive their show — like Jim and Pam from The Office, Nick and Jess from New Girl, or Eleanor and Chidi from The Good Place. Just as many pairings, however, failed to impress fans.
