A key line from The Boys’ season 5 trailer seems to confirm that the TV show will be adapting Billy Butcher’s dark ending directly from the comic book. Amazon will be dropping the two-episode premiere of The Boys’ fifth and final season on April 8, 2026, and the streamer’s marketing campaign to drum up excitement for the show’s last hoorah has already begun.
