In the midst of a hit-and-miss third season, Lost officially jumped the shark with an episode so bad that it sealed the fate of the entire series. For most of its run, Lost was a compelling sci-fi mystery drama. It gave us some of the greatest TV episodes ever produced, like the season 4 masterpiece “The Constant.”
