If stopping Doctor Doom comes down to an epic final battle, which it most likely will, whether or not that will happen may depend largely on a handful of the characters confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday. From the looks of things, heroes and villains across multiple realities in the multiverse will be coming together to oppose Robert Downey, Jr's Victor von Doom in the upcoming Avengers movie.
