The Witcher had all the potential to be one of the best modern fantasy shows around when it premiered in 2019. Alongside being based on a popular set of novels, The Witcher's video game series also helped build a strong fan base that was extremely excited about the Netflix adaptation. Sadly, the streaming platform failed to capitalize on this.
