Although Stephen King is the modern master of horror, 2026 will be the year of non-Stephen Kinghorror TV shows and movies. The horror genre absolutely dominated in 2025, breaking records and welcoming new fans to the genre. Some of this can be attributed to successful films like Sinners and Weapons, both of which were sleeper hits.
