PlayStation consoles are getting three new free games in January 2026, and you won’t need a PS Plus subscription to download or play them. There was a heavy flow of free games added to Sony’s gaming systems in December, some of which were part of the subscription service, while others were not. For example, there was a free new PlayStation game added in late December that does not require a membership.
